A leading automotive manufacturer wanted us to profile and benchmark top suppliers within specific auto components product category in APAC.
Situation
The client wanted to identify key suppliers of auto component and develop a supplier selection scorecard for shortlisting ideal purchasing partners from the APAC region.
Approach
We identified and shortlisted the most prominent Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for auto component suppliers and conducted a deep-dive assessment of capabilities of the major suppliers to develop supplier scorecards.
Impact
The client was able to assess the capabilities of suppliers from the APAC region and make informed decision based on key factors such as TCO, price, after sales service, distribution network, delivery time etc.
